Store. Keeping your LionClock for iPhone software up to date is one of
the best ways to avoid errors, bugs and other technical problems.
Version 1.01 is now available as a free update
from the App Store.
Make sure to update
to avoid a bug in version 1.00 that made LionClock v1.00 unexpectedly
close when selecting a different project or immediately after LionClock
was
started.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q:
Do I need the new iPhone 3G to run LionClock for Projects?
A: No, LionClock for Projects runs on both the original
iPhone and the new iPhone 3G. Just make sure you have the 2.0 software
update if you use the original iPhone. The software update can be
installed via iTunes.
Q:
I don't have an iPhone. Is LionClock for Projects available for Windows?
A: No, LionClock for Projects is available exclusively
for the iPhone. For many business people and self-employed
professionals, our software justifies the need for an iPhone. Keep in
mind that you can also write off your iPhone as a business expense if
you use it mostly as a time tracking and billing device.
Q:
I bill my clients in blocks of 15 minutes. Can LionClock do that?
A: Yes. Go to the Settings tab and select "15 minutes"
under "Billing Increment". Every time
you stop recording time on a project, LionClock rounds up the total time
spent on that project to the next billing increment.
Q: What is the difference between the Lite and the Plus edition?
A: The Lite edition can manage up to 50 projects only.
After that, you would need to delete old projects. The Plus edition can
manage an unlimited number of projects.
Q:
What new features are you planning to add?
A: Our goal is to make LionClock for Projects the best
iPhone time and billing software available. Yet, rest assured that we
also want to keep it easy and user-friendly. We plan on adding many
exciting new features in the next few months. We cannot reveal any
details now, but we are certain you will like them.
Q:
Does the price cover future updates of the software?
A: Yes! You will get free updates within the same
version 1.xx. Version 2.xx will most likely be released in 2009 or
later. Updates will be delivered to you via App Store automatically.
Q:
If I buy the Lite version, will there be any upgrade path to the Plus
version or will I have to pay the full price?
A: If you know right away that you are likely to have a
list of more than 50 projects sooner or later, we would recommend
purchasing the Plus edition right away.
The App Store is designed in such a way that it does not allow users to
update to another edition just by paying the difference. The only way to
get our Plus Edition is to purchase it for the full price. We apologize
for the inconvenience. Also, it's not currently possible to keep the
same data you had in the Lite edition if you move to Plus: another
limitation of the App Store. For the above 2 reasons we recommend buying
the right edition to begin with.
Q:
Sometimes, when I switch between projects, the application closes. What
should I do?
A: Users have reported that in some cases, LionClock
v1.00 unexpectedly closes when selecting a different project or
immediately after LionClock is started. Please update to version 1.01 or
later (available as a free update from the App Store) to fix this unfortunate bug.
Q:
I selected my currency in LionClock settings, but I still see the dollar
$ sign everywhere. Why?
A: LionClock currency settings only affect PayPal links.
To display your currency symbol in LionClock's interface, reports and
invoices please wait until version 1.02. It should become available very
soon. It includes a Currency Symbol setting allowing you to set the
currency of your choice.
Q:
What if I purchase LionClock, but decide that I don't like it. Can I get
a refund?
A: Apple's policy about refunds for App Store is very
strict: no refunds. We are sorry for this inconvenience.
