A growing number of businesses is using Microsoft Office Accounting as their accounting software. If that's your case, you would be interested to find out that LionClock, our employee time clock software, offers seamless Microsoft Office Accounting synchronization of employee time entries with just a few mouse clicks. Microsoft Office Accounting synchronization is available by default in all editions of LionClock 3.xx via the Manage - MS Office Accounting Synchronization menu. Microsoft Office Accounting integration allows you to:

Quickly transfer all (or specific) employee time entries recorded by LionClock to your Microsoft Office Accounting company file. You could then do payroll and print pay checks from within Microsoft Office Accounting.





The synchronization feature has been tested and is compatible with:
·Microsoft Office Accounting Express 2007, 2008 and 2009  
·Microsoft Office Accounting Professional 2007, 2008 and 2009  



Using the Office Accounting synchronization tool

To quickly transfer all (or specific) employee time entries recorded by LionClock to your Microsoft Office Accounting company file, follow these steps:

1) Go to the Manage - MS Office Accounting Synchronization menu.

2) The very first time it will ask you to select your Office Accounting company file. Once you do that, you will be presented with the following screen:

3) Press the "Export Time Entries" button to move to the next screen:

4) Put a checkmark next to each employee whose time entries you would like to transfer or simply click the "Select All" button.

5) Match the name of each employee with the name you entered in Office Accounting

6) Decide if you want to export all new entries or just entries that fall within a specific date range.
Warning: to export time entries for September 17th, for example, you need to set the dates as following:
From Sep 16 to Sep 17

7) Pressing the "Next" button will export the entries to Office Accounting:

8) Press "Finish" once the progress bar reaches 100%. Below is a screenshot showing time entries recorded by LionClock successfully transferred to Office Accounting Time Entry List:
