 How
to backup and restore LionClock's settings and time files
LionClock stores all settings and employee files
in a folder named "data". The location of this folder depends
on the edition of LionClock you are using.
LionClock (regular
version):
c:\program files\lionclock\
LionClock Pro for Networks:
c:\program files\lionclock server\
To backup LionClock's settings and employee files simply copy the folder named "data" to a
diskette. If something happens to your computer, simply follow these
steps:
1) Locate LionClock's
installation file you have received after paying the licensing fees. If
you can find the installation file, fill out this form and we will
redirect you to the download page
2) Double-click the
installation file and follow the setup wizard that will guide you through
the installation process
3) Once you have successfully
installed LionClock, go to the following folder:
LionClock (regular
version):
c:\program files\lionclock\
LionClock Pro for Networks:
c:\program files\lionclock server\
4) Inside, you have to
locate and delete a folder named "data"
5) Replace the deleted
"data" folder with the one you have on your backup diskette
6) Run LionClock
7) All the settings and employee files
should have been restored
